The graphs below illustrate the job volume over time for different personas involved in residential building updates or repairs. All the data is representative of Minneapolis from 2021 to 2023. This analysis highlights the changing demand for various types of updates or repai rover the years.

As seen in the above graphs, Minneapolis seems to be on the rise for renovations being done to residential buildings. Houses will always need repair work done, as you can see a steady stream in repairman work. However, with the housing prices continuing to rise, we can see a lift in “The Renovator” persona, leading us to conclude that houses are choosing to renovate their current homes over relocating to an already updated house. For marketing purposes, this can give companies an edge in focusing efforts towards playing into the renovate over relocate persona.
